1. Why I Did Vidtember
Mainly as a good way to encourage me to get more content out into the world, much more regularly, forcing me to overcome my paralysis, fears and trepidation about doing so. Having regular content is a serious boost to morale for myself—a way of gaining momentum, and of course sharing stuff, with you, dear audience.
Many of my videos so far, this month, have been snippets and teasers from my longer webshows. But that's not all!
In addition to the regular-length episodes…I'm also doing a collaboration with Edgar/Artifexian to do multiple videos in his hand-animation style, to convey short, bite sized tips and other neat content! Check out our first such video below.
Of course! The more the merrier—and as we add content and value to one another, cross-promote, and lift-each other up, everyone wins! It's not too late to enter either. Chris Ducker made a point of saying that you did not have to pos a video every day.
Content is a great way of adding value to others—and rich media like video, doubly-so. Ask yourself what form of content creation is right for you, and if you're not out doing it already—you should think about it!
