A lot of time has been spent rebuilding both my trust in myself and the trust of others after my recent divorce. Spending time with friends and family has been crucial. Business and personal relationships need to be repaired, and I've been focusing on that as much as I can.
Working on book covers has been a huge priority. These are the bread and butter staples of my main 'day job,' as it were.
For one sci-fi author client, I've been working on a cover involving a spaceship crash. After offering many different suggestions in full photo-rendering, I've actually resorted to giving some simple sketches (who would've thunk it!) as a way to communicate the details of how the vessel comes in for an unceremonious landing.
